D.I.Y. Valentine's Round-up

We thought we'd lend you a little help and inspiration for Valentine's Day. Whether you are making a special Valentine for a lucky someone... need to make 25 Valentine's for child's class, but don't want to buy a lame box set.... or if you want to spruce up your surroundings with love... we have oodles of ideas here for you... so get crafty! *The pictures link to tutorials*

I did this last year with my daughters. I made a treasure map for them and at the end they found a message in a bottle. The message had to be heated over fire (or heat) to make the message appear! It was a lot of fun and and my girls enjoyed the hunt and surprise message.

Handmade twig arrows! Adorable and fun to do with you child... go on a nature walk first to find the twigs and then end with a craft!

A fun scratch card for kids... or anyone really...

Free downloads from Eat Drink Chic... really a great blog!!!

I absolutely LOVE these! Easy for little hands to help with the faces.

This would be an exceptionally cute idea for classroom Valentine's for an older child who can braid!

Really?? It doesn't get much cuter than this....

For those of you that have time and don't have little ones trying to "help" you... you can bust out your exacto-knife and get to it!

Remember back in the day when you used to make these?? Well, here is an easy printable fortune teller

What's not to love about these warm hearts?? You can send your child off to school on Valentine's morning with some warm hands!

"light of my life"

Adorable free printable cards!!

A great project for beginning sewers!

Some garland inspiration....

We also threw in a few uber cute cards if you so please.
