Jon Klassen- This Is Not My Hat

We are excited about the new Jon Klassen book, This Is Not My Hat! 

All of our kids were all over his first book, I Want My Hat Back. So we were so stoked when he came out with his new installment of hat + animal story bookery. 

As always he has amazing drawings of adorable (and shiffty eyed) animals... in this case a little fish, a big fish, and a crab. And his underwater scenes are amazing! The sensibilty of his color pallets and his layouts are hard to beat.... I mean, geez, look at that....

Go out and get this book. Support awesome people. Let your kids read with good stuff to look at. 

Jon Klassen... the man, the myth, the LA dodger hat wearing amazingly nice and awesome author and artist! 

Your kids will thank you for being so rad to them!

I did this last year with my daughters. I made a treasure map for them and at the end they found a message in a bottle. The message had to be heated over fire (or heat) to make the message appear! It was a lot of fun and and my girls enjoyed the hunt and surprise message.

SewnClever was recently called upon to add some of our touches to a nursery. Of course, we were very happy to be help. We were asked to add the felt ball detail to the curtains, and obviously our knit monsters are a must for any child's room!
