Here at SewnClever, we love ourselves some street art... whether it be tagging, poster bombing, or good old graffiti. What would you prefer to look at driving down the street, a beautifully crafted piece of art/satire/propaganda/ect... or another billboard to consume some mass-produced product?? (maybe expect a street art post on our blog in the near future) Well, I was just reading about a new form of street art... Yarn Bombing! Yarn bombing is wrapping urban structures or trees... or anything in yarn! So pretty and non-destructive! This definitely makes for a more beautiful world!! We at SewnClever love the art of street art, we find that territorial tagging and graffiti solely for the purpose of defacing property to be... well, quite lame.

i don't know about you... but after a day or so of no complete shower my hair starts to die inside because of how lame dirt makes it.
so a perfect remedy? cover it up with a cute retro scarf!

we hope this summer you are all able to go camping in any degree of the sense... backyard camping, urbanized shower camping, super wilderness camping, family camping, friend camping, flushable toilet camping, car or rv camping, whatever you want camping.
there's something special that happens whilst camping.
bringing small versions of your every day life, cooking over the fire or small itty bitty propane powered stoves, firewood, tents, double-wide sleeping bags, laughter, meaningful and silly conversations by the fire, photography, memories.
sometimes we just need to get out of the everyday and into an atmosphere that forces us to focus on each other and just enjoy this awesome life we are given.
